The European iOS landscape for waifu games saw varying trends in the first quarter of 2021. Here's a snapshot of how top titles performed during this period, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2 experienced a notable spike in weekly revenue, peaking at $62K in early March, while downloads surged to 14K in the same week. Weekly active users also saw a significant rise, reaching over 40K at the beginning of March.
Azur Lane had its highest weekly revenue at the end of December with $45K, which then fluctuated across the quarter. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 600 per week, and weekly active users were stable, with a slight decrease from 4K to 3.4K over the quarter.
The recently released Princess Connect! Re: Dive saw its revenue start strong at $28K in its debut week, gradually declining to $3.7K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 21K upon release before settling to under 1K in the final weeks of the quarter.
ILLUSION CONNECT showed a mixed revenue trend, with a high of $11K at both the start and end of the quarter. Downloads peaked in early January at 1.2K and ended the quarter with a strong 976 downloads in the last week.
Lastly, Idle Angels: Goddess' Warfare had its highest revenue in mid-February at $9.8K, while downloads saw a decline from 1.7K to under 300 by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at 3.3K in mid-January and dropped to 1.7K by the quarter's end.
